|Title:||Fault Injection in a complex middleware system - Felinjektion i ett komplext system|
The thesis will investigate Fault Injection methods, program different Fault seeding scripts and investigate how to create mutant for mutation testing purposes. In particular, this means to understand and re-create faulty code, thus inject faults in an elaborate way in existing software, and documenting how and where these faults are, but also to expand and invent faults to inject in the code. The purpose is to create a clean compiling, but faulty code that still can execute. The purpose of the thesis is to support research around software testing techniques, but also aid in verifying fault tolerant and fail-safe systems.
