Title: Master Thesis - Automatic Input domain definition for Test Design Techniques

Description: The thesis will investigate and explore applicability, efficiency and effectiveness of input related test techniques in open source programs. The thesis work will design an automatic search for possible inputs at defined levels, and then construct a partial “Automatic test generation” for the system that generates test cases for the previously captured input. Based on the “rule based” test design techniques. You thesis will exploit existing results around how to capture input, and apply the search on different programs. You will be measured during every phase of this thesis, and will constantly give and receive evaluations, since the measurements will be a part of research in the area. This is basically an expansion of the “Test Design Technique LAB” conducted at the course Verification and Validation.
Programming language is arbitrary, but should follow good coding standards, be documented.
The aim is to “generically” create a search and define of the input. The constructed system will then be compared with SIR system.
You need to be skilled developer, since you will on your own define and describe the system – from architecture to implementation and test.
