Title: Integrating Enhanced Slot-Shifting in uC/OS-II

Description: The idea behind this assignment is to integrate time triggered tasks and event triggered tasks using a feasible joint schedule. Slot Shifting takes a static schedule for a time-driven workload as input, analyzes its slacks off-line, and makes use of the slacks to accommodate an event-driven workload on-line. The Slot Shifting method does not address how to produce a static schedule (which is assumed as given input). The approach produces an off-line
calculated table and integrates off-line and online scheduled (sporadic) tasks in a feasible EDF schedule.

This master assignment concerns the design and implementation of the run-time mechanisms to support the enhanced slot-shifting approach. The assignment should result in extensions for μC/OS-II real time operating system.
