Title: Integrating Requirements Authoring and Design Tools for Heterogeneous Multi-Core Embedded Systems

The main purpose of the iFEST project is to provide a solution for the integration of tools throughout the life-cycle of an embedded systems product. This, while observing an increase in the quality of the design, and in the performance of the results. A key factor to these is the possibility to work at high levels of abstraction and to be able to take implementation decisions at a later stage in the design process; for instance being capable of selecting hardware of software solutions or change the decision as late as possible, with a minimal re-design effort.
Among the tools ABB is to observe within the project focus we find the HP-ALM framework, with a utility in the area of requirements engineering, test case supervision and life cycle management.

The work will consist of the implementation of the iFEST specification of an adaptor for HP-ALM framework at the requirements stage of the design. The validation of the results will be done by linking the realization to similar other solutions and running a small case study.
