Title: Implement and evaluate Mimer database on INtime

Description: The system used for evaluation consists of the PS700/Axiomtek computer system which is a Intel Dual Core based PC compliant computer running the INtime RTOS on one core and Windows XP embedded OS on the other core. To the computer there are several peripherals sending data to processes running under the RTOS. After processing data the information is then communicated via a shared memory area to Windows/file based data, before sending it to the SCM (Station Control and Monitoring system)

The thesis work consists of implementing a real-time database, and to evaluate the footprint and performance of the Mimer real-time database compared with the current file-based implementation.
The project consists of the following parts:
1. Investigate how to integrate Mimer real-time in the current system architecture.
2. Integration of Mimer real-time in the In-time RTOS and implementation of read and write operations.
3. Conduct a performance evaluation of read- and write-operations under different workloads and data rates
4. Implementing the same functionality as a file-based LOG symbol with MIMER real-time and compare how the real-time system perform in both cases.
