2013-01-28 The grading is done! Project grades and short feedback have been distributed by mail. The individual grades (based on the project grades, individual inputs and our view of the contribution by each member) have been reported. It normally takes a couple of days before they are registered in the database, at which point you can view them from the student portal. If you have questions concerning the grading, contact the course examiner.
2013-01-15 The course is nearly over now. For you, two things remain (plus perhaps the final delivery to the customer) in case you haven't done it yet: To send the individual grading input and to fill out the course evaluation form (the personal links were sent out by email yesterday).
2013-01-09 Instructions for providing individual input to the grading process are now available. The deadline is January 16.
2013-01-07 Schedule for the final presentations added to the Presentations page.
2012-11-19 Presentation instructions added.
2012-11-14 Deliverable instructions added.
2012-11-13 We have now created a folder in the course svn repository for each group. The address is "https://v-subek.ita.mdh.se:8443/svn/dva313/2012/gX", where X is your group number. Only the students in the group, and the course staff, have access rights to it. Before starting to use it, it might be a good idea to think about how to organize it, and maybe assign one group member with the overall svn responsibility.
2012-11-12 Projects page updated. Project startup slides and weekly meetings schedule added.
2012-11-06 We have added another project suggestion today (we got contacted by a new company). If you have already signed-up, you may do it again in case you want to adjust the scores (otherwise, we'll assume the new project got score 6).
2012-11-02 The list of proposed projects and sign-up form are now available.
2012-10-08 Please note that all the scheduled meetings and presentations are mandatory, since the project work is the only form of examination in this course. The only exception is the pre-course information slot Oct 31, which is not mandatory but still good to attend. In particular, it is very important that all students attend the project start (Nov 12), since the project groups will be announced then and you will start with the initial planning and customer contacts. If you have a really good reason to not be present, please contact the responsible teacher in advance.
2012-10-08 Since there were many questions about this last year, it might be good to write it here: In this course, the project groups are formed by the course staff, and not by the students. Before the course starts, we will provide some information about the available projects, and then students can indicate which projects they prefer. Based on this, and other factors, we will put the teams together.
2012-07-03 Course page created.
