My parents are from Czechoslowakia (Prague in the Czech republic) from where they escaped in 1969 - so without the communists I wouldn't probably exist. If you have any family relation to me, please let me know - I'd be more than interested (see family tree). Have interested in science and computers my whole life. Met my girlfriend and wife Linda through the "Unga Forskare" and give that organization the blame :-) of my current life. It would be wrong to not mention all the hundreds of rats I have owned and bred together with Linda under the stud name Abacus. After some renaming an d reorganization I work since 1995 at School of Innovation, Design and Engineering, Mälardalen Universityas a teacher ("lektor" but has also been and director of undergraduate studies ("studierektor"), laboratory manager and a PhD student ("doktorand"). I have (had) courses in programming, data communication, algorithm and datastructures, but the main focus in the education and reaserch concerns computer architecture - especially cache memories in real-time systems. I received my licentiate degree in October 2002. A couple of years ago I also worked as a consultant at RealFast AB. Besides the research at work, I also find pedagogic tasks interesting. Most important are however my children; Xerxes and Zacharina and Majken and Klaudia. I'm very proud of them - have a peek at the pictures here and on my picasa-pages..
