Here is some information for you who is interested in entering our Ph.D. program at the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering (IDT) at Mälardalen University.
Acceptance is on an individual basis. There are no particular admission dates.
You need to be funded to be able to enter the program. Funding is typically by project grants held by professors. When a professor has funding for a new Ph.D. student, a position is publically announced. The advertisement of the position will have detailed information about what to submit. Advertisements will appear at on the web, but sometimes also in Swedish press.
The best way to get in is to check our research web pages for projects or areas that seem interesting to you. Then get in touch with the responsible professor in order to check if there are any open or upcoming positions.
