• Own graduate programme started
• Around 40 graduate students enrolled
• Examination: one PhD, three lic
• Licentiate School started, nine participants
• CUGS (Swedish National Graduate School in Computer Science) started, two participants from IDt
• Participation in ARTES network, 20 participants
• Seven own PhD level courses offered, plus some common courses for MdH
• SICS branch started, offering research possibilities for five "semi-industrial" graduate students
