Year in Retrospect with Regard to PhD Education

Highlights:

• ~50 graduate students enrolled (whereof ~20 industrial graduate students)
• Examination: one PhD, twelve Lic(!)
• Research schools/networks: continued to run the Licentiate School. Participated in CUGS (Swedish National Graduate School in Computer Science), and ARTES. Got grant from KK for industrial graduate school SAVE-IT (starting 2004). Will have seven students in ARTES++ (starting 2004).
• Four own PhD level courses offered (a little thin IMHO), however the major effort ESSES
