The growth of software development business provides an opportunity to strengthen the software engineering research in Sweden even further. SERPS’05 presents an opportunity to discuss the current situation in software engineering research. Besides that goal SERPS’05 also presents a forum for Ph. D. students to meet and exchange ideas.
