If you want to write to other rat-people, (or just read), I'd suggest you hook up into the rat-mailing list (in English) or the SWEDISH r8lista!.

A mailing list is listserver with members that are subscribed to it. The members can write to the server (a normal e-mail) and the listserver will send copies of the mail to all subscribed members. If you want to unsubscribe it can be done in a minute and you will be off the list! Try it - it's easy and fun. Read the information on the linked pages carefully and there will be no problem to subscribe or unsubscribe...
