I worked as software developer at ABB Atom and Westinghouse 1998-2001.
In 2001 I enrolled as a PhD student at Mälardalen University, in the field of
Software Engineering. My PhD thesis covered integration of in-house
developed software systems and was defended in September 2006. I currently hold
a senior lecturer position, teaching courses in Software Engineering, and am
partially employed at CC Systems as software specialist.
My research is carried out at the PROGRESS
centre and in collaboration with the company CC Systems,
on life-cycle processes for embedded (in particular safety-critical)
software-intensive systems. See my current and previous projects here.
I finished my Ph.D. studies in 2006 with my thesis presenting
observations and guidelines concerning integration of software systems
completely controlled in-house.
You find all my published work on the publications page.
Two selected papers appear below:

I am responsible for the Software Engineering course as well as the Distributed
Software Development course held together with the University of
Zagreb. Our 2008 students in the DSD course had tremendous success (first
place, and three finalist teams out of six) at the international SCORE
competition at the ICSE conference.
I also regularly supervise M.Sc. theses.
