Title: Network Digital Twin in 5G and Beyond
Subject: Embedded systems, Computer science, Applied Artificial Intelligence
Level: Advanced
Description:

Description:

This research focuses on conducting a comprehensive review of Network Digital Twin (NDT) technology in the context of advanced wireless communication networks, with a particular emphasis on 5G and its future evolutions. NDT is an innovative concept that involves creating a virtual replica of a physical network infrastructure, enabling precise monitoring, analysis, and optimization of network performance. With the advent of 5G and the imminent transition to future wireless technologies, understanding the role of NDT in enhancing network management, reliability, and efficiency is critical.

Research Objectives:

·         Explore the fundamentals of Network Digital Twin technology, its development, and its applications.

·         Investigate the integration of NDT in 5G networks and its potential benefits for next-generation communication systems.

·         Analyse the use of NDT for real-time network monitoring, predictive maintenance, and performance optimization.

·         Review key research works, advancements, and challenges related to NDT implementation in 5G and emerging network technologies.

Expected Outcomes:

·         A comprehensive review of Network Digital Twin technology's significance and its integration into 5G and beyond.

·         Identification of research gaps and challenges in implementing NDT for advanced wireless networks.

·         Insights into the potential impact of NDT on network reliability, efficiency, and future technological developments.
