Access control policy (ACP) is one of the pillars that govern the proper functioning of small or large organizations. ACP constantly evolves to accommodate the growing demand of safety and security for organizational resources, especially at this information age. There is a demand for common understanding among different organization layers about ACP, simplification to make changes as required, and analysis at early design to engage stakeholders. In this thesis, we will develop a modeling method for ACP that can be used for modeling ACP, specification and analysis of requirements for automated policy synthesis, and automated policy generation.
