Title: Integrating System Composer for Enhanced Architectural Modeling in Traction Control Software Development Using MATLAB/Simulink (Alstom)
Subject: Computer science, Embedded systems, Robotics, Software engineering, Industrial Systems
Level: Advanced
Description:

This thesis investigates the application of System Composer within MATLAB/Simulink to improve the development process of traction control software. With model-based design as a foundation, the research focuses on how architectural models can enhance the traction software regarding requirements allocation, modularization, and testability. The thesis aims to prototype an architectural model demonstrating how System Composer can be integrated into Alstom's current development framework.

This thesis investigates the application of System Composer in the development of traction control applications. The scope of the thesis is twofold:

  1. To examine how architectural models can enhance traction software in terms of requirements allocation, modularization, testability, and more.
  2. To prototype an architectural model demonstrating how System Composer can be integrated into our current development process.
