| Title: | Digital Twin Architecture for Enabling Electric Vehicle Battery Services |
| Subject: | Computer science, Software engineering |
| Level: | Advanced |
| Description: |
Digital twins and electric vehicles (EVs) have gained popularity in both industry and academia alike. A digital twin is a digital representation of a real-world physical entity and is often used within the industry for activities such as monitoring, simulation, testing, and maintenance. In this thesis project you will focus on investigating and developing a digital twin architecture aimed at electric vehicle battery services. To accomplish this, you will investigate digital twins, vehicle demands, available technologies, EV battery service opportunities, and propose a digital twin architecture. The thesis project will be executed within the context of the Circul8 – Smart Battery Circularity research project (https://www.mdu.se/en/malardalen-university/research/research-projects/smart-battery-circularity---circul8) funded by the Knowledge Foundation’s (KK-stiftelsen) in collaboration with Volvo, Epiroc, and IBM. |
