Title: Detecting bad smells in industrial requirements
Subject: Computer science, Software engineering
Level: Basic, Advanced
Description:

Bad requirements quality can have expensive consequences. In this thesis, we improve the detection of issues in requirements based on requirements (bad) smells by applying a light-weight static requirements analysis. This light-weight technique is already implemented in C# and needs to be extended to make it more domain specific, include different types of requirement bad smells as well as improve its evaluation. The evaluation will focus on tool stability, user friendliness. In addition, the tool will be integrated in the current way of working with requirements with the DOORS tool.
